Dear Friends,
As a lifetime resident, who loves this city, I believe
it is time to return to the core values and support
the institutions that have made this a remarkable
place to live, work and raise a family.
Each neighborhood must be recognized for its
unique concerns and remedies must be created
that fit the circumstances.
My experience as Chief of Staff at Cedars-Sinai has
given me a broad array of skills and a fresh perspective on how best to manage our City's financial resources and outstanding staff.
I understand from my years on the School Board that building consensus through creative solutions brings leadership and vision to a governing body. And, as I demonstrated as Vice-Chair and Commissioner on the Beverly Hills Recreation and Parks Commission, energy, passion and ideas do make a difference.
My grandfather, Earl Warren, the Former Governor of California and Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court said, “I feel that the greatest reward for doing is the opportunity to do more.” Challenging times call all of us to public service. I welcome your ideas and look forward to meeting and discussing the choices and challenges Beverly Hills faces.
Sincerely,

William Brien, M.D. |
